The app catalog is adorsys' solution for distributing apps to our customers in a secure/private and customizable way.

adorsys in-house solution for app distribution

It is an alternative to Apple's App Store and Google's PlayStore and enables hosting multiple environments for one app. The catalog is tightly integrated into adorsys’ build pipeline and new releases are automatically published into the app catalog within a few minutes.

The customer receives a push notification for each new release. It hosts screenshots for each app and keeps track, if an app is an update or a new artificat for the device.

It is individually customizable to the customer's needs.

Use Case

App testing for Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall

The project follows SCRUM, needs an agile testing and review process therefore.

After a feature was implemented, the developer starts the build process by setting a git tag for a new app version. In this particular case this is done by Gitlab. After the build process is finished and the data was uploaded to the app catalog, a push notification is sent to all registered devices.

It takes only 11 minutes from setting the tag till a push notification is sent to the users device.
